HOW COULD WE EVER FORGET?

This is my grandfather, James Richard Brown,  who fought with the 2nd Royal Guernsey Light Infantry and the Royal Irish Fusiliers in World War One. He was invalided out of the army on May 6, 1919 after losing a lung. Today I am thinking of all the other brave soldiers who never had the chance to be
 fathers and grandfathers.
  Gold Bless them all.

What a lovely tribute Marilyn. I’m afraid I was rather selfish when I posted mine and only talked about my grandfather, now I wish I had added a note to include everyone else.
Your book is sitting on my bedside table, waiting to be read. I’m very excited to get started but need to finish the savage garden first.
